Company Description: S-Network Global Indexes LLC is a rapidly-growing New York-based boutique financial services firm specializing in the development of benchmark indices for use in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and structured products. S-Network indices seek to measure and isolate macro-economic investment themes including: alternative energy, water, infrastructure, agribusiness and commodities. S-Network indices currently serve as the underlying for financial products holding more than $1.5 billion in total assets.
Position: S-Network Global Indexes LLC is currently seeking a full-time Associate in the Business Development department and assist the Senior Index Analyst.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include preparing quarterly updates of index performance fact sheets, index sales presentations, press releases and data requests from licensees. Responsibilities also include creation and maintenance of company and index websites and company and index presence on Bloomberg and other data vendors. The position represents the company at national industry conferences. Most of the foregoing functions involve working with outside service providers.
Skills and Requirements: Strong research and writing skills, design sense to supervise designers and willingness to delve deeply into key geo-economic issues. Some travel required. High level of competence in using full Microsoft Office suite is essential.
